QUESTIONABLE BIDS.✦
Get everyone in on it.
Each round, choose a whole-number bid in secret. You have 60 seconds to lock it.
The highest bidder earns the prize and pays the difference to second place. After settlement, the highest balance at or above 200 wins.
A few things to know
Everyone starts with 10 bananas. The round prize equals the largest starting balance. You can bid beyond your balance, but an unaffordable payment has consequences.
Tied highest bidders split the prize; tied second places split the payment. Shares round down. An unaffordable bidder drops to zero in groups of three or more, and the auction continues without them for that settlement; with two players they keep their balance.

- Everyone starts with 10 bananas. The richest player’s balance sets the prize.
- Enter any nonnegative whole-number bid—even more than you own—and lock it within 60 seconds.
- The highest bidder gets the prize, then pays the difference between the top two bids to second place.
Ari, Bo and Cam each have 10. The prize is 10. Their bids: 7 · 5 · 3.
Ari gets 10, then pays Bo the difference, 2.
18 · 12 · 10 new balancesWhat if a bid is too expensive?
Starting at 10 each, bids of 100, 10 and 8 leave Ari unable to pay. Ari drops to 0 and the same prize passes to the remaining auction. Bo pays Cam 2. Final balances: 0 · 18 · 12. Everyone plays next round.
With only two players, the unaffordable bidder keeps their old balance. Tied highest bids split the prize; tied second places split payment. Shares round down. Finish settlement before checking 200: the highest final balance wins, and ties share victory.
First move: lock your bid before the timer ends.
